This morning at 9.30, the first team squad began their first training session of the new season. The only absentees were Leo Messi, Rafa Marquez and Gabi Milito who have extended holidays due to playing the Copa America, and Carlos Puyol and Jose Edmilson who are both out injured. Five players from Barça B joined the twenty-one first team players in the session. Oleguer, Abidal, Henry, Eto’o, Maxi Lopez, Marc Valiente, Jorquera, Sylvinho, Touré, Iniesta and Ronaldinho took part in some circuit training, while Valdés, Belletti, Deco, Ezquerrro, Olmo, Giovani, Zambrotta, Thuram, Xavi, Gudjohnsen, Motta and Bojan all underwent physical tests. Also involved were new goalkeeper, Oier Olazábal,  Marc Crosas and Dimas. The session was basically a physical workout and was under the orders of physical trainers  Albert Roca and Paco Seirullo.
