Barça will face Villarreal in the quarter-final of the Copa Del Rey after Villarreal beat Recreativo 2-0 tonight to go through 2-1 on aggregate. There was a shock as Real Madrid went out after losing 0-1 to Mallorca (1-3 on aggregate). Mallorca’s goal was scored by Ibagaza. Athletic Bilbao beat Espanyol on penalties.
The quarter-final pairings are:
Villarreal-Barça
Valencia-Atletico Madrid
Getafe-Mallorca
Racing-Athletic Bilbao
The first legs are due to be played on 23rd January with the return games on the 30th January. Dates and kick off times will be confirmed when the telly man sees fit.

Yes! Let’s hope crashing out of the cup has a negative effect on Madrid’s morale.

Iam hoping we get some revenge @ el madrigal after our embarrasing defeat there in the league,barça should bid for maiçon he would fit perfectly in the squad.

I hope it does damage Real Madrid but they hardly played all there players. Granted they played some and brang on a couple subs but hey I think Barca need all the help they can get at the moment!
For this game, I beleive revenge is on the table. 4-1 against Barca is no mean feat but I think that ‘hard man’ is right in that it will be Sevilla again ie draw away and just do enough at home.
I dont know about you but I could get used to this not-so-attractive-but-winning style
Although it is still nice to win in style!!
