While we await the venue for tomorrow’s game the LFP have announced the kick off times for next week’s matches. Unfortunately they have returned to their old ways of announcing the kick off times just a week before the games are to be played (and this week they are a couple of hours later than usual). Anyway considering that Barça have to play Schalke 04 on the following Wednesday in the Champions League, they have done us no favours by designating the latest possible kick off time for the game with Getafe (Sunday 9pm).
One would think that La Liga would want to help their clubs as much as possible when they compete in Europe, but no, it is much more important to keep the TV companies happy and allow them to dictate who plays when. Now Barça will have under 72 hours to rest between games.
Real Madrid’s game away to Mallorca will be on the Saturday at 10pm.
