Leo Messi and Rafa Marquez return to the squad in place of Gudjohnsen and Ezquerro for tomorrow night’s Champions League game at home to Lyon. There is also a place for both Giovani dos Santos and Bojan Krkic, who will make their European debuts if they play. Barça will need to improve on Sunday’s disappointing performance in Pamplona if they want to beat the French champions. Hopefully the players will respond to all the criticism they have received. An early goal could be vital to getting the the public behind the team. 

Lyon arrive having won 1-5 away to Metz this weekend, they are currently second in the French league with 15 points from seven games. Watch out for 19-year-old Karim Benzema who scored a hat-trick against Metz and now totals 8 goals this season.
