Barça’s last home game of the season against Mallorca has been set for Sunday 11th May kick off at 9pm. all the games this weekend will kick off at the same time. It will be the last chance to see some players at Camp Nou and will also be Frank Rijkaard’s last home game in charge. I hope the fans leave their handerchiefs at home and pay homage to a great manager.
Apologies for not being able to inform you of this kick off time on Friday as I usually do but the information was not given until yesterday and it slipped my mind to check. It seems that as Thursday 1st of May was a holiday in Spain those in charge decided to take a long weekend, leaving us poor fans a few more days without knowing when to make plans. I hope they all enjoyed themselves.

According to this report one of the players Pep wants to get rid of is Yaya. I am not sure how realible this is coming from goal.com. It does worry me though, if it is true then surely we are missing something. Yaya has been one of our best most consistent players this season. He has shown tremendous heart and determination playing through the last 2 months with an incresingly painfull back injury. I just do not understand it!!! I hope its a fat lie!

Hilal - the story ran in this morning’s El Sport, I don’t think Guardiola would be telling journalists his plans when he hasn’t even been officially named coach yet. But then again he may have been asked for a list by the directors and someone could have leaked it. It’s a strange one though as the rest of the list is fairly believable and I can’t imagine a journalist making it up and putting Toure’s name there. Really don’t know what to make of it but I imagine it is just speculation, they would be nuts to get rid of Toure.

Hmmm, thats i was thinking Nic, but what worries me is that if it is just speculation then it would be extremely far fetched to speculate that Yaya would be on the list to leave. In fact I would put him ahead of a lot of the people on the list to stay. Well lets all hope this is some sort of “typo” because getting rid of Yaya would be a monumental mistake!
