Frank Rijkaard has named his sixteen-man squad for tomorrow night’s Copa del Rey return match with Villarreal (kick off 10pm) and there is a return for Ronaldinho as well as for Rafa Marquez. Edmilson, Gudjohnsen, Oleguer and Sylvinho have all been left out for technical reasons.

Last week’s first leg in El Madrigal ended in a 0-0 draw, and with the away goals rule counting after 90 minutes, only a win will see Barça through to the semi-finals. Villarreal have Guille Franco and Javi Venta back after they missed the first game, and Franco could start up front alongside the dangerous Nihat. Villarreal are third in the league at the moment but have been inconsistant on their travels this season, winning five league games at Racing, Valencia, Atletico, Getafe and Mallorca, and losing the other five at Espanyol, Valladolid, Osasuna, Zaragoza and Real Madrid. They have never won the Copa del Rey.

Frank Rijkaard will pick his strongest side for the game and a victory will leave Barça as clear favourites for the trophy. Marquez should return in midfield in front of a back four of Zambrotta, Puyol, Milito and Abidal. Victor Valdés should continue in goal which means Pinto will have to wait for his chance. The big question mark is whether or not Ronaldinho will start: after such a time out it would be more normal for him to start on the bench, but Rijkaard might feel it would put Villarreal on the back foot if they see Ronnie in the starting lineup.

The cheap tickets on sale have persauded me to make a rare trip to the stadium tomorrow to cheer on the boys, so expect my match report to be a little bit later than usual. The last time Villarreal came to Camp Nou they got stuffed 4-0, hopefully Ronnie can score another incredible goal like the one he scored in that game, if you don’t remember it click here to see it again.
