With the apocalyptic feel surrounding Barça this week it is easy to forget that aside from the not-so-classic Clasico Barça played some good football in December. There were valuable victories over Deportivo, Stuttgart and Valencia, and a half-decent draw with Espanyol, which had given Barça fans some cause for optimism before Madrid came along to spoil it all. Shining through has been Andres Iniesta who was Barça’s best player against Espanyol, Depor and Madrid, making this month’s winner a formality. December’s top five is as follows:

I totaly agree Iniesta was the best player in the past month.He prouvd that in tha classiko with his excellent performans.Just keep on like that !!!

very true iniesta has been the most consistant of all players this season, if i had to pick a match of the year this year i would go for the barca VS zaragoza match at camp nou that one came at a good time for barca. we beat them comprehensively all round
