According to reports in this morning’s papers Jose Edmilson is looking at a possible move to Villarreal. El Sport states that the player underwent a medical at Villarreal on Monday. The player finishes his contract at Barça on June 30 and is therefore free to negotiate with other clubs. Edmilson will be 32 on July 10.

Sounds fair to me.. His job is done here. Now let’s pick up Makelele as the new backup for Yaya.

Finally! After his “Black Sheep” I really wanted him to go!

It is obviously time for him to move on, but i liked Edmilson. He was extremely unlucky with injuries and we should remember that the season he played most was 2005/2006 which was Barça’s historic season.
Question: Who was Barça’s holding man when we destroyed Madrid at the Bernabeu? Answer: Edmilson. I wish him every success.

As long as he goes I’m happy, he has been playing poorly for quite a while and needs a change of scenery

Frede why Makelele? Why not someone better ot younger to be back up for Yaya like Veloso or Nasri!
