Every day, new names appear in the Spanish press of players who are supposedly on Barça’s list of possible signings. Some are mentioned once and are then forgotten, others like Thierry Henry appear every day. Here is a list of some of the latest names: David Trezeguet (Juventus), Didier Drogba (Chelsea), Jorge Andrade (Deportivo), Chivu (Roma), Tiago (Olympique Lyonnais), Carlos Eduardo (Gremio), Alberto Zapater (Zaragoza), Diego Forlan (Villarreal), Gerard Pique (Man Utd).

On the other hand, there is also talk of offers coming in for Barça’s players. Apart from Eto’o, who is in a different story every day, Giuly has been linked with Olympique Lyonnais, Monaco, Sampdoria and Tottenham. Saviola is said to have various offers including one from Real Madrid, and Eidur Gudjohnsen could be used as part of an exchange deal with Manchester United to bring Gerard Pique back to Barcelona. Edmilson is looking for a move to Italy, and Liverpool’s Rafa Benitez is interested in getting Marc Crosas on a loan deal. Meanwhile, Thuram and Marquez have both expressed a desire to stay at Barça.
