The press have been going a bit crazy this week with non-stop speculation about the comings and goings at Barça. There has been a lot of talk about Jose Mourinho again as next season’s coach but today Marca claim he has not accepted Barça’s proposal to have him as coach with Pep Guardiola as his number two. According to the report Mourinho believes Barça haven’t shown enough confidence in him. Presumably he would want to choose his own assistant.

I thought you didn’t want Mourinho in Barca Jay. I don’t really know what is best for Barca. Maybe Mourinho isn’t the best. But if this is true I don’t blame him like 30 times we told him we are not interested, What did we really expect ?

I don’t want Mourinho in Barca if we get a candidate suited to the club’s attacking philosophy. If we don’t find someone, then I withdraw my case.
