France Football announced yesterday that Barça and Thierry Henry had reached an agreement for the Frenchman to play the next three seasons for the Catalans. However, they also said that Arsenal had not yet accepted Barça’s reported offer of €25 million. Hours later, Henry’s “people” denied the story.
I’ve stated here before that I don’t understand why Barça would want to buy him. Would he be happy sitting on the subs’ bench? I doubt it. So unless Barça really do want to offload Samuel Eto’o, something they have denied and I believe would be very foolish, I can’t see the point of it.
