Ronaldinho Fit To Play Again

January 28th, 2008 by Nic · 4 Comments

After taking part in a training match for 60 minutes this afternoon Ronaldinho has received medical clearance to play again. Ronnie hasn’t played since Dec 23 due to a tendon problem in his left knee which has seen him on the sidelines missing eight matches. He will probably appear at some point during Thursday’s Copa del Rey match at home to Villarreal.

Hi, Nic. I learned that Crosas played for Lyon yesterday. Do you know any thing about this match? I want to know how he performed.

Hi Tristan. Crosas has now played three times for Lyon. He made his debut last weekend playing 75 minutes in the 3-0 defeat at Lens. Midweek he played 90 minutes in the 2-0 win at home to Lorient, and this weekend he played 61 minutes in the 1-1 draw away at St Etienne. The reports I could find in English make no mention of any contribution from Crosas, so I’m afraid I can’t tell you if he played well or not, but it’s good to see he is playing. I found the official Lyon webpage but of course it is in French which I don’t speak, if you want to have a look this is the link - http://www.olweb.fr/
