The rumours have been around for ages but nobody until now has gone into such detail about Ronaldinho’s exploits as Daniel Garcia Marco who writes for the press agency DPA. According to Garcia Marco on Monday night, the night before Barça played Manchester, Ronaldinho was out until after 5am at the “Sandunguita” night club near Castelldefels. He was drinking beer and dancing with friends and admirers.
While players should be allowed to occasionally let their hair down this is obviously not the best way to get over a leg injury. Ronnie was supposedly hoping to get fit for a possible Champions League final, but it seems he has other things on his mind.

He hurts my soul when he does that. I was just checking out some of those wicked videos of him on youtube. Just two years ago he was the king of football.
Im in seven minds about him.. could he get back on top for Barca, or should try something new? And IF he switches - will he be a success? If he does, im not sure if I will laugh or cry.

When I heard that news about ronnie, I was really dissappointed of his bad behavior, because he’s my favorite player in the world .

Hmm so what’s Henry’s excuse? Deco’s? Even Eto’s (for the last month)? Funny thing is that even when he was at PSG it is said he was doing the same thing and that didn’t seem to hinder his playing abilities then which eventually lead him to becoming world player of the year. I really hope he does leave but now Barca have made it hard with the 40mil price tag. If he does leave I predict that Barca will be in trouble for years to come.

I remeber that picture it was taken AGES ago, that picture was taken at Messi’s farewell party ( when he got injured against Celtic and went to Argentine for treatment )

That picture it was taken AGES ago, that picture was taken at Messi’s farewell party ( when he got injured against Celtic and went to Argentine for treatment ) also a lot of other players where at that party Deco, Marquez and some other players. Currently I heard he is recovering and may be fit for the last Liga match.

I took the story and photo from El Sport. http://www.sport.es/default.asp?idpublicacio_PK=44&idioma=CAS&idnoticia_PK=505864&idseccio_PK=803 which is why I say “According to”.
Frank and Jose - you have a very similar style of writing.

From being king of the football world he moved down to king of the night club. He has the ability to do magic no one else can yet he chose to do what most men can.
Why is it that when he is criticized by fans and the media, he is not even trying to prove them wrong? Has he no respect for Blaugrana, is his mind already set to his new club, some psychological problems?
Is it the club that has forbidden him to speak to the media about his situation or why hasn’t he said anything? I bet journalists are trying to reach him.

Sell him….. we have the current king of football anyways. What we need is unity, drive and desire, none of which he will bring. Sell, sell sell! Dont get me wrong, I loved him as much as the next fan, and he will go down as one of the greatest Barca legends, but no player is bigger than the team!

Messi + Ronaldinho = amazing possibilities.

Is it just me or did Barcelona start faltering as soon as Ronaldinho began losing form? I guess Rijkaard ran out of ideas after his main chess piece in the attack began to crumble. Both started their careers with Barcelona around the same time so it is proper both leave at the same time too.
I am not gonna lie, I was drawn to Barcelona last year because I saw a documentary on Messi stating he could possibly be the next maradonna. After following the club, watching their games and reading into the history behind “mes que un club” and how the club was basically the last remaining symbol of a culture being supressed by Franco I was like “Damn! I am glad to be supporting this club.”
Anyways I digress, since I started following Barcelona last season, I never really saw the amazing player Ronaldinho was two years ago which is why I dont really give a crap what he is doing with his life right now. Perhaps my sentiments would have been different if I had seen Ronaldinho at his best but anyways, get rid of him and stop dwelling in the past.
We have Messi who was dubbed by Maradonna himself to be the next Maradonna. How can you go wrong? Any coach who sees Messi’s name on the team he has to manage will be go crazy with happiness. He will do great things for the club and he still has time to improve.
Big question is, who will be the next number 10?
