I was in a taxi coming back from the Sagrada Familia this afternoon, and the driver was telling me that Samuel Eto’o will definitely be leaving Barça this summer. The driver reckoned that his brother worked in a key cutting shop, and that once in a while Frank Rijkaard came in to get his chubb done. So anyway Rijkaard went in the other day and apparently says to this key cutting bloke that he was fed up with Eto’o and that the final straw had been the other day when Eto’o had refused to collect the bibs at the end of training even though the dressing-room rota showed it was clearly his turn. So apparently they are going to offload Eto’o to the highest bidder. Rijkaard also mentioned that he was looking at Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink as a possible replacement.

I hope there’s no truth in this.
