Taxi Driver’s Sister-In-Law And Sylvester Stallone

July 15th, 2007 by Nic · 5 Comments

I was coming home from the fiestas in Poble Sec tonight when the taxi driver told me a very strange story. Apparently, the driver’s sister-in-law works as a cleaner in one of those posh hotels on the Costa Brava and one of the guests last week was none other than the hero of the Rambo and Rocky films, Sylvester Stallone.

Anyway, the sister-in-law got talking to the muscular star one day in the hotel lobby. Apparently, Sly was saying that his big aim in life at the moment is to buy Michael Jackson’s entire collection of art. As you will probably all know, Wacko Jacko spent millions accumulating one of the naffest collections of paintings and sculpture ever seen. Stallone though was very keen and said that Jackson needed the money and wanted to sell. The only problem was that every time the famed actor put in a bid, Barça’s Ronaldinho put in a higher one. The sister-in-law said that Sly seemed seriously pissed off about it all.

Stallone has recently been showing increasing signs of eccentricity, not only was he born on the same day as U.S. President George W. Bush, earlier this year he attended an Everton match at Goodison Park. Maybe it’s time for him to lay off the growth hormones.

I strongly believe that Ronaldinho should be much more careful with his money. I hope he’s not going wacko.

I have seen on line the picture of Wacko Jacko. Yes, it is similar to Michael Jackson. And there is a terror film titled “Wacko”. But I have a question: why this collection of art is important for Ronaldinho? I didn’t knowhis passion of art. But, does anybody know the Michael Jackson’s art collection?

I have red in “Celebrity rumors” that some of this collection might sell on eBay. Supposedly he owes thousands of dollars to an art gallery owner in California. But today this owner wants to get his money back.
“Celebrity rumors” says that the paintings include one of Jackson playing with Peter Pan and another one of him dancing in a rainbow of colors. Also, the collection includes dozens of Norman Rockwell prints showing children at play.
But, does Ronaldinho admire music or character of Michael JAckson? Perhaps, all this history is a strategy of Ronaldinho’s investment advisers. What do you think?

Joan, I think you could be right about the investment advisers. The art collection might look like a load of tacky rubbish to most people, but there is bound to be some rich mug willing to pay a ridiculous amount for it in the future. I imagine Ronaldinho will just put it all in storage until he decides to sell it on.

Just been looking at Celebrity Rumors. Can’t believe what they say about Wayne Rooney. What would he do with all that sausage?

i’ve got a wonderful collection of illustrations, paintings and sculptures, all with kids in them. there’s obviously a market for them…Jacko, Ronaldinho…any other takers?
anyhow, i live in Yeovil and we’ve got taxi drivers too. the last one i spoke to said that we might be buying 11 pairs of Ronaldinho’s old boots to see if it improves the team.
