Vidic With Stomach Problems

April 23rd, 2008 by Nic · 8 Comments

Manchester United may be without their central defender Nemenja Vidic for tonight’s game at Camp Nou. Vidic appeared yesterday evening at the press conference with Sir Alex Ferguson, but later in the evening he was taken to the Bellvitge hospital complaining with stomach pains. If Vidic doesn’t play his place could be taken by ex-Barça player Gerard Pique.

Those of you who watch the EPL know the Rio Ferdinand is sometimes got an error in his game when playing without Vidic as he cant play with their replacements Brown or Sylverstre.

Barca will score, Barca will win. But they must not concede an away goal.

Like I said 3-1 scoreline for me :)

Sounds like the usual Sir Alex mind games to me.

I agree with Speeka, im sure Vidic will start.

Maybe, buts its all over the press that Vidic was admitted to a hospital in the Catalunian capital and thats its very doubful he will start.

Hey guys whats the chances of Henry starting tonight? I need mathematical chances e.g. 60-40 as SkyBet are offering 8-11 that Henry doesnt start with seems like free money to me (thats you get £1.72 for every £1 you bet just to clear up).

Worth a bet you think? It might even pay for the mortgage Nic and allow you to attend some games if you bet heavily on it lol :)

I wouldn’t bet on it Titi. I think if Rijkaard believes Henry is at 95/100% he will play him for his experience. Surely Henry would love to play in this game. It all depends on how well he is feeling. I’d say it’s a 50-50 chance.
